"An inconvenience rightly considered."

G.K. Chesterton once wrote, "An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered."

That probably should be my motto right now. This blog is born out of my current inconvenience - aspiring theology student gets accepted to graduate school at Unnamed University (not to be confused with Unseen University)and there is much rejoicing. And then she learns that U.U. won't be offering her any financial aid. Sigh.

Fortunately, not all is lost. I've currently got an amazing summer job with a fantastic Catholic organization, and I'm planning to apply to another couple of schools next year. But in the meantime my theological musings and Catholic news commentary need an outlet.

And thus this blog is born.

After all, as Chesterton also wrote, "When it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow."
